Has any one on this or other forums installed after market seats and has be able to hack into the electronics of the car to open and close the soft top? Any help will be highly appreciated.

Contact Evolution Autosports 703-961-9090 ask for John, he installed my Bride seats and my top works fine. I don't know how he did it.

So...you're telling me that if I install aftermarket seats in my roadster, the top won't go down...?

 

Not true, just make shure that you take the white boxes that adapt to your passenger seat off from the inside of the leather and leave it in your car connected somewhere under your new seat. Unzip the leather and you will find all the wiring there and under the seat.
