Honestly, I was expecting more.
I was overly surprised and happy at how nice my car is and how sweet it looked the first moment I saw it. (love at first sight )
The vert just does not do it for me! I love vert's but this one (based on the few photo's I have seen) just is not right.
It makes me even happier to have had a coupe for this long already!

Looks better than expected. Now how the hell will it look with the top up? From the pics you can guess where the end of the roof will be. Looks like it will have a steep slope in the back, like the S2000. I don't think it will look good with the top up.

Anyone notice Nissan took the antenna off for the photos again?
I am looking forward to seeing the hi-res pics from Jay. But, I will hold off my final judgement until I see one in person.

This kind of reminds me of the old days........any scrap of info to share.
I just went to Nissan news, and no pics there. I don't know where AutoWeek got their shot, and I couldn't find it on their site either, and they do not give any photo credit.
Wish I could share a better quality shot.
I like how AutoWeek called it a Roadster instead of a convertible.
I hope the name sticks.
And, PLEASE, don't bring up that "A........." word.

Being that Autoweek is more of a trade magazine, Nissan hooked them up with an exclusive. I know thousands subscribe to Autoweek, but most news-stands don't carry it. (sadly) Easy to subscribe to though.
I saw the scan and emailed it to one of my guys at Nissan asking why it was that I saw it online before I saw it in my email box. I think I've gotten spoiled, Nissan told me they'd hook me up so I could post it for all of you and then low and behold, Autoweek has it first, and then I see it on Z.com as well.
Ah well, I was told to "check my email" Thursday morning so when I wake, if the image is there I'll downsize it so I can post it here, but I'll also post the full size image over at my site with a direct link for those that wish to download it. I am not sure how high res or big the image will be, but the Maxima image they sent me was freaking huge so I am expecting great things.
No idea which shot they are hooking us up with, whether it's one of the ones we've seen or a fresh shot. My bet would be one of (or both of) the shots that are currently on Z.com.
I asked for tech specs 'cause I know many are wondering but I was told for that, we'd have to wait for the April auto show. That's when they are releasing all the info as far as price/models etc.
So it's 12:30am pst, I am off to bed, should be up early...will post as soon as I get up if the image is there.
-side note... I received "The Run" and it is freaking unreal. I am now counting down to receive the dvd from N74DV. I think that video is going to kick some serious butt as well.
Oh yeah, I just got my 350Z calender. Whoo hoooo I am Mr. February. Well, the photo I took is at least, thankfully not me in my cheetah speedos. heh
