Default Photoshop convertible challenge !

Oh mighty photoshop gods who's mice I am not worthy to polish.....

If I had the skill I would love to see the new convertible photos re-done as Chrome Silver. I think that or SS would give it a more classic appearance.

Is such a change even possible considering all the shadows and the intensity of the blue?

VERY nice!

But how is it done: are you using the "Replace color" feature in Photoshop?

Default Awesome!

Wow, thanks for the photoshop jobs! Awesome!

How DID you do it?

I am "ok" with photoshop (for an amateur) but I have no idea how you replaced all that blue and kept the specular reflections in tact.

Here is a link to an old thread that I posted about how I usually go about color correcting images: https://my350z.com/forum/showthread.php?threadid=602

Hope this helps.

VQ... thanks for the photoshops. My opinions... cause I know everyone is dying to know what I think... hehehe

White & Silverstone... for a convertible, kind of bland. Darker interior would help, but I think these colors look much better on the coupe.

Daytona Blue... very nice. I think it is obvious why they selected this for publicity photos

Brickyard... sorry, VQ.. the color match is nowhere near correct. Kind of hard to make a judgment until the color is represented more correctly

Super Black... sweet!

Chrome Silver & LeMans Sunset... I like these two, but think they would look much better with a black interior... especially the Sunset.

Redline... WOW! My favorite. That just looks awesome!!!

Do you think you could do one up for me please. How about black with burnt orange seats and Volk SF Winning Silver & Gold wheels? Wheels are @ www.clubciao.com/auto_salon2003/2_rays/01/02.jpg
This is the car I am going with.

Default I agree CS w/ Black Interior

I agree, the CS with a black interior would probably look better.

Thanks for the PS links.

350zed,

I've been a little busy, but this is what I've done so far...I'll try get the wheels on later. I also know the other interior trim doesn't look right...don't have the time right now to find out what the interior colors are on current black/burnt orange models. If you find a pic showing this I'll make the changes.

Tim what you have done so far looks sweet thank you. I presently have a hard top in black with orange seats so I know the trim color. All other inside trim color is black. The only orange shows up on the seats. Thanks very much for doing this for me, I owe you. When your done this will be my new screen saver till my convertible comes in. I have had a deposite down for a convertible since October 16, 2001 and can hardly wait to see it.

350zed,

OK...got time to finish it up tonight. I will email you the full size one (same size as the original post in this thread) which won't need to scale up as much for your desktop. Hope you like it...

Thumbs up Cool, How About The Fabled New yellow?

Wow these look great! I would love to see it in the yellow color that JManz confirmed would be offered for 2004.

Since the yellow is a new color for 2004, makes you wonder why the first convertible photos didn't showcase in that.
