Yeah I can agree with that. I really thought my GFs apartments were nice and had some ppl that would not think of doing things like that but since I have been parking there I got keyed on my passenger door and the soda thing. It might be this no parking fool that drives a beat to hell mustang. He always looks at me crazy. I guess in front of a business would be okay. Not for extended periods of time however.

Depends on the neighborhood and if you do leave the top down, roll up your windows. No one is going to leave the top down and go watch a movie. I know I wouldn't, I would be able to watch the movie. I would be worrying about my precious.

Thanks for all the replies. Personally, I close the top every time that I leave the car. I asked the question because I keep seeing a silverstone and a black roadster at my health club with the tops down. The club is pretty nice but, it doesn't seem like the right thing to do.

I have had mine for two years now and if I am only stopping for 30min or so I leave the top down. If longer I put it up, mainly because you never know when a torential downpour will start. Generally I figure if someone is going to vandelize your car they can do so, key it, cut the top etc. I lock up stuff in the storage box to prevent any easy grab and runs but I have never had any problems including bird droppings.
