what is the best cold air intake to get??

Just FYI...if you look under your hood, you will notice that Nissan has already equipped the car with a CAI.

I have the Nismo CAI on my roadster, gives it a nice sound...

Nope.

Nissan gave us a Ram air intake. CAI is one that runs all the way to the bumper to draw pure cold air. Using a Ram air, a popcharger, and no heat sheild can actually decrease performance (read heat soak).

why are you talking to me like im new i just wanted to see what peoples opinions where im actually going to get the stillen or aem. But as you can see above you were wrong so how about you save us all n dont type false information. Thank you n have a nice day

You can of course choose and install any devices you choose.

But the OEM intake extends forward of the engine compartment, ahead of the engine, condensor, radiator, and any other heat produceing or heat shedding component.

Where is there any cooler air available?

Happy with my AEM. Nice sound. Really can't tell if performance is any different. I've had it since I got the roadster late spring of 03. I'm so used to it now I don't really remember what it was like without it.
