I imagine some mild detergent in warm water would work. Don't use any solvents.

There is a product from "Mothers" call back-to-black that will usually restore things like that. Its pretty cheap too.

If you are still trying to remove the sun block try either of the following. Use any of the cleaners mentioned above, but instead of a cloth, use a green scuff pad. The kind you buy in the supermarket. DO NOT USE ANY OTHER COLOR YOU FIND IN A HARDWARE/HOME SUPPLY STORE, THEY ARE TOO COARSE. The geen scuff pad will allow the cleaning agent to get into the small pores that a cloth cannot get to and won't harm the finish. If the above solutions do not work. Try the following. I own an automotive interior reconditioning compnay, we service 306 car dealers. We use the following to clean leathers-vinyls-plastics. In a 1 gal. jug/container, mix 1 qt. ammonia, 1 pt. rubbing alcohol, bal. water. It will work. Sorry, I only know how to mix this stuff up in a gallon quantity. It may sound weird, but this stuff is very effective. Also will clean stains on cloth seats and carpets.
