Default British Article that states convertible for 25K????

ROOFLESS AMBITION Nissan's 350Z soft top stunner

Will it or won't it? That's the question everyone asks when they clap eyes on Nissan's astonishingly pretty 350Z convertible.

Everybody wants to know if it will be sold in the UK. The Japanese aren't saying. But if they do decide to offer their swoopy ragtop here I can tell them it will fly out the doors faster than an F16 jet fighter.

The 350Z cabriolet is simply the best-looking Nissan for decades (if not ever) and a car that's guaranteed to give the brand a massive injection of charisma. Powered by a 287bhp, 3.5-litre V6, the new soft-top Z-car will have leather trim, electric hood, climate control, ABS, traction control, six-speed gearbox and heated seats all as standard.

Performance is likely to be in Porsche Boxster and Audi TT territory with a top speed in the region of 150mph and 60 on the dial in around six seconds. On sale in Japan soon, and due to hit America this summer, this captivating convertible already boasts full order books and enormous interest from the buying public. But while the Yanks will probably pay only $25,000, a likely British price could be around £27,000, putting it close to Audi TT money.

So if you fancy owning the most delicious Datsun ever, write to Nissan and beg, implore and cajole them to import the 350Z to Britain.

Oh, and while you're at it, tell them if they charge us the same price as the Americans, you'll buy two and maybe a Micra for your mum.

25 k....don't think so this guy needs to lay off the crack pipe. I would say around 34-38 k. Base price. I doubt all models will have the convertible option.

At today's exchange rate (1.59708), 27k pounds = $43,121.

Note the $$ sign in the original post...not the Pound sign.

$25K with all the options of a touring + convertible added on (~$34K)?? Ch'yeah...right!

Does that EVEN make ANY sense to pay $9000 less for a car with MORE features? Where do they get these writers?
