How is this possible?
Easy. Just like the pre-orders for the Z that were taken from last January to June. The dealer will hold the deposit money until they have an allotment to order the car. Might be the first month available or it could be several. I talked to a guy whose sister had ordered the convertible in January.
Depends on how long you want to let them use your money.
