heat in front kick panels

Default heat in front kick panels

hey

I just bought a Z conv. comming from a wrx. i noticed heat comming from the front pedal area...yes the heater is off....is this normal?...didn't notice any thing in the wrx....please advise....

make sure the recirculation mode is on.

the recirulation is on...even when the A/C is blowing..its still hot there

Yes, the ZR generates a lot of heat and it gets in the cab. I found most heat seems to come from the carpeted area under the center console (transmisson?). If you don't have AC on, turning off the fan seems to help a bit.

+1. If I drive with the windows open, all the vents are closed, and the controls are set to OFF. Air conditioning is on recirculate.

I had the same issue with my zr and when I took it to the dealer they admitted that nissan has a pretty poor heating AC system that they were finding a lot of complaints regarding heat seeking through the vents.

i have a z cpe, and also get alot of heat from the pedal area. i also had a wrx, which i never felt this in. i thought it was just me. so i guess this is a normal thing, and just should keep the recirc on so that the fan does not bring in hot air from the engine?
