Not sure what he means by the coupe being superior version since the only difference is the mold, there both made out of the same material...

I have no idea what he is talking about with the ""Skin Lift"" Only thing I can think of is the spoiler came off with the paint attached to the bottom of it, if this is the case then the paint never bonded to the metal of the car, was this factory paint job or a custom paint job that did this? Bottom line it had nothing to do with the spoiler but was a paint issue.

I don't think this guy has a clue to what he is talking about... Not unless he gives more specific information.

I have had mine on for 2 1/2 years and its rock solid ...

Ok, here's the details on my previous post. I spoke to the dealer again and this was the info. They've installed about 4 of the Stillen spoilers on roadsters. In 2 cases (including after a year in one) the factory spot welds between the trunk lid frame & the sheet metal skin were breaking. This in turn deformed the sheet metal. The spoiler itself wasn't defective, nor was it coming off the car due to incorrect installation, but it appeared that the added weight and vibration of daily driving took it's toll.

Because of that, if I want the spoiler they'll sell it it me but with no warranty other than the Stillen warranty on the actual product. Nothing more.

Before a million readers flame me on this, it's not my personal story but it is enough to convince me NOT to try this, and trust me, I really *want* that particular spoiler - I'm just the disappointed messenger.

That's what I said to him, that I'd chatted about it on various forums and so forth and it had never been seen elsewhere, but he very much stuck to his guns and said I'd be asking for trouble based on their local history.

Talking Pink Nismo spoiler for ZR

If anyone is looking for a hot-pink Nismo spoiler that has been modified to fit 350ZR, there is one on eBay right now:

You could always paint it, but without some other serious body mods that wing would look out of place.

Question

Is this a spoilerdepot spoiler, or is it something different that looks like a spoilerdepot?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/PAINT...32105690QQrdZ1

Anybody bought one of these for their Roadster?

Looks like it... It's probably made by the same people who make the one spoilerdepot sales...

I like this wing a lot! Doesn't seem to stick out as much as the stillen.
I assume this is an INGS spoiler..
