AC on with the top down?

I never run the A/C with the top down - if you can't stand the heat, put the top up. It's bad enough losing gas mileage and performance with the top down... fire up the A/C, too? No thanks.
Am I the only person who thinks if you drive a convertible with the top down and the windows up, you're a p\/ssy and you should've gotten a moonroof instead?

I run my roadster with the top down and the air on when it's really humid. It keeps you from sticking to the seats.

I don't recall saying anywhere in my post that I was worried about the importance of such a weighty matter as whether or not windows should be up or down when the top is down in a convertible

That's why new cars have warrenties.
The Z has one of the most capable A/C systems of any car i have ever owned. I suggest you have it checked out.
