Default Convertible Deposite Dates Who's First?

What was the date when you put down your deposite for a convertible? I put one down on October 16, 2001. Who's been waiting the longest?

Default My solution

Here's my current solution to open air.

The Z convertible will be a nice choice when the weather is iffy but warm.

The bike is a 1.5 Liter V-Twin. I think 1.5 Liters is a better size for a bike motor than a car motor.

Default deposit on roadster

I was determined to be the first in my area with the new roadster so with a leap of faith (no picture or specs to base my decision on) I placed a deposit in November 02. The first pictures have made me feel great about my decision. I'm real curious to see what colors/interiors will be available. I could care less about the price but that will also be interesting. I told my dealer to make sure it has everything on it Nissan offers. This is going to be a 40th birthday present to myself...I told my wife that it's my version of a mid life crisis. She said it was a hell of a lot better than a mistress (and probably cheaper!). Damn...summer can't get here fast enough!

After the New York Auto show introduction, you should be able to place your order with your own personal selection of color, models, and options. They should have a brochure ready for the show which will give all the details and choices. This was the way it was done at least for the Detriot Auto show introduction, for the present hardtop. Here's my choice.

Thanks...that is an awesome combo. I thought about getting the LeMans Sunset, but after looking at one in person I changed my mind. It's a little too burnt orange looking. I was hoping it would be more metallic. I looked at a black coupe with the orange leather interior...sweeeeet! The only other possible choice would be the new liquid silver. I hope they'll offer the orange leather with it. Chrome wheels are also a must...stock wheels are a little boring.

So since i have been prepairing for the Z onslaught since September 2001, and begain selling them in December 2001, and have delievered over 50 coupes to date, i would have to say i am suffering the most waiting for the roadster to arrive...
