05 roadster with 12k miles in Northern Cali...what's it worth?
Hey guys,
I'm trying to sell my car, and was wondering what a fair price was. I looked at the autotrader in my area and most 05 roadsters are going for around 34k. I have mine priced at 32K, is that too expensive? I'm not getting many calls (none actually)
2005 silver enthausist roadster, automatic, 12k miles. Blue book is around 30K. Should I go cheaper?
Thanks for your help...I really need to sell my car to pay off some loans.

That seems fairly accurate, since approximately 2 months ago I got my '04 Touring Roadster 6MT (every option except Navi) with 12K miles in great condition + 7yr/70K miles transferrable extended warranty for $27,000.
That said, I would try something around $30,000 ($30,450 seems reasonable), and lower the price if it does not sell after a while.

If you pay MRSP for a car, you automaticaly lose $3k the moment you drive off the lot.. The true value of the car is Invoice not MRSP...
If it was me I would sell it for $30k if you get no bites after few weeks then drop it to $29k wait few weeks more then try $28k etc...etc...

Of course I bought mine in the prime of convertible season, and it was a very favorable color combo (silver with blue top). There was a similarly equipped red one with 30k miles for $25k (listed price). Another reason I was attracted to mine was that it had polished Track Edition Rays forged wheels on it with brand new tires. I put a $1,500 value on those alone.
For the original poster, I think $29,500 is a good starting point.
