Default Interior Cover

What do you guys think?

I thought I was purchasing an indoor (garage stored) car cover from covercraft but instead I ordered an inside car cover. I did not know they made such a thing. Fairly ingeniuos in that it ties down over the Z with the top down, it fastens over the windshield using the wiper arms, the exterior outside mirrors, and little doo-dads that slip inside the truck lid. But I never park the Z with top down for any length of time!

Would this ever come in handy? I did notice that it will fit over the Z with the top up/closed and might be handy to protect the top from the elements?

My wife is not too happy!

I prefer to store my ZR with the top up as well. I mean it takes what, 30 seconds to put it up or down? I'd prefer to cover all the car. I got the impression this one you're talking about doesn't. Or does it?

No, it does not cover the whole car just the interior or possibly the top. I do not know what happened, when iIstipulated inside storage cover, some how it got messed up!

I've wanted just such a thing to protect the top and the interior from the sun when it's parked at work. How do you like it?

35TH ANY,
I just got it so we will see, my wife wants me to send it back but since it is customed designed for the ZR I am not sure.

Does not look to bad, tan felt on the one side and sort of a tan canvas on the outside trimmed in black!

I'll shoot a photo so you can see it!.

return it and get what you ordered, its better if you put the top so it does not wrinkle vinyl when its down for long periods of time

Why bother protecting interior only?

As long as you're willing to make an effort to put the cover on, you should cover and protect the entire car, and not just the interior. I would send it back and get what you planned to order in the first place, a cover that covers the entire car.

I tend to agree, not sure what the point is of that cover when you have a power top that will go up in a few seconds. You can save your top from the elements with a quarterly application of convertible top protectant if that's what concerns you.

If you wanted this thing to keep dust off in the garage return it and get the the whole cover.
