Question radio and tire pressure sensors

I am new at this computer stuff but if some can help I would appreciate it.
1. Does anyone know if there is an aux input on the back of a 05 radio w the 6 cd changer? Second, I recently put new tires and wheels on with tire pressure senors purchasded from the dealer. The delaer had ti charge me 50.00 to reset the computer to read the new pressure sensors. does theis have to be done each time I change the wheels?

You need this in order to gain aux inputs plus you get a IPod input..

As far as the tires goes, long as you keep the same sensors for the new tires you should be ok..

THe dealer should not have charged you for the resetting.. I think it only happens when the sensors are all switched around and they have to re-program them to the correct 'side'.

Default Most dealers will charge to recalibrate TPMS

I called three local dealers and they all charge between $50 - $75 to recalibrate the TPMS. If you install a winter wheel and tire set with TPMS, it will need to be recalibrated. When you switch back to your summer set, it will need to be recalibrated again. And you can't do it yourself, it has to be done by Nissan on their computer.

I just bought a snow tire and wheel set from Discount Tire Direct, and opted not to go with the sensors. For the few months I'll use them, I'll just have to ignore the light on the dash.

Same here, It's not worth the $$ to have them updated. FYI, my local Discount tire has the Nissan tool to reset the TPS when switched, but they have no idea how to use it. Fat lot of good that does. Oh well, what do you expect for $1800???
