Are 350z roadster 2nd hand values falling
Heres a question to past owners/upgraders of 350z roadsters.
Im trying to sell my extremly well cared for 350z roadster and Im having a very hard time selling it.
I have tried ebay auctions (70 buck cost), Autotrader (40) cost and craigs list.
The only call I have had was from the free craigs list add and that was a broker.
I have the car $1000 below blue book and still no interest. (26900)
Its in immaculate conditions 27k, daytona blue, enthusiast, 2004.
Are 350z's 2nd hand prices crashing ?
Did anyone else have such a tough time selling ?
By the way I love this car, best car to drive. Money issues forcing to sell + the points on my license.

You're going to have to sell it a little less in order to get people interested. I'm not sure if you're in Louisiana or Los Angeles but the season will have a factor depending on where you are. S2k has a worser depreciation. My brother almost picked up a 2005 with 1300 miles for 25500 and that cost more than a base ZR.

Looking at Edmunds private party sale value on a 04 DB Enthusiast Roadster with 27K on it should go for about $25K.
Could be several factors
Time of year your trying to sell it, Winter is coming and raodsters and sports cars in general are usally not good sellers during winter
Color of the car, most popular colors are silver, white and black... Being you went with blue your potential buyers will be smaller then say if your car was silver...
With interest rates still being semi low most people prefer to buy new... Another reason for buying new is people are more leary of buying a used sports car in the fear of it being abused.
These are just a few ideas why your having problems...

Thanks for the possible reasons though.

I didn't include taxes because I just wanted to show that the actual depreciation isn't bad at all on these.
i think the market is too saturated right now. my 04' touring trade-in value is only $22k~24k the most. i plan to keep mine till it stops running even it means i have to go flip burgers for it
Update to selling status:
Ebay - Useless no bites and cost $71 to post.
This week I have put it on cars.com for the reduced price of $25800, I will see if it that gets any bites.
I am very surprised about the prices the ZR's are going for, the KBB and edmunds prices seem to be well off.

ZR's go for a crazy amount of cash!
