has anybody done this? does the top function correctly?

I belive it has been done.. I know that Fosberge is running one now... howver I do not believe that his top operates anymore.

I do know that if your cage builder is talented enough.. and you have enough $... he/she can fabricate a cage that will retain the top operation.

yea it'd b nice if they make the same roll bar for our zr's that's similar to the blue s2k below,

If you take the plastic covers off there are a few inches of extra room to install a solid bar. I can't honestly say I've seen this done before in a way that keeps the top functional.

You might be able to install a new rollbar, but not a rollcage and still maintain the functionality of the top and look presentable. When you raise or lower the top, that beam across the back comes down lower than the top or the factory bar covers (the hoops behind your head). If you were to make such a setup, you'd have to have it dip down, which IMO would look rather hideous.
