My buddy has a '05 Touring edition. Has only 6,100 miles, hardly drives it. However lately it has been sputtering and shuts off on him. He says it's as if the engine isn't getting fuel. Dealer can't find the problem? Any opinions on what could be the issue here?

 

MAF sensor? Same thing was happening to me in the first month I had it. Supposedly a leaf got in there.

 

I agree check the MAF, did he by any chance put a new intake on it?
