^thats a nice drop.. I suggest tokicko springs/dampeners if you want a slighty softer than stock ride with firmer rebound and compression- and a 1.25'' drop in the rear, 1'' in the front.

get some Stance SUS coilovers and you can decide your ride comfort and ride height whenever you like, instead of being STUCK with one ride height option with the usual lowering springs and shocks combo.

I just lowered mine yesterday w/ Tanabe GF210s. Its a 1" front 1.2" rear. Here is the only pic I have so far....

In my opinion the ride seems better than stock. I drove it 100 miles yesterday and it seemed to loose the bounce. I just hope my wheels will fit now that its so low.

I lowered mine with Eibach springs. It's a little rough at times, and I have to watch out for those tall speed humps.

Ok, I've been surfing through the forums for this exact opinion from others. I recently added 18" ADR wheels to my ZR. I'd love to lower it, but everywhere I read states that anything beyond a .6" drop will require a Camber adjustment. I measured my wheel gap and don't think I can even go a full 1" drop.

I'd love to go with coilover, but that cost is just wayyy out of my budget. Who has seen a kit that I can drop it about .6" all around and keep a firm ride for handling purposes. Here's a pic of my car, so you can see what I'm talking about....

Any ideas of what I can do without paying an arm and a leg? Also, am I just not pushing the envelop enough with anything less than a 1" drop?? OH...BTW...my wheel offset is 25 front and 30 rear on 8.5 and 9.5, respectively.

Xonixwave -

Nice Z...looks like ours are related

I have 19" wheels on mine (don't remember the offset off hand) with 245/35 and 275/35 tires. I have the Tein S-techs which dropped it about 1". I had this done over a year ago and aligned only once when they were first installed and my tires are showing no uneven wear at all. I have no issues with rubbing and most speed bumps and driveways are not a problem unless unusually steep. The handling is awesome (I also have Hotchkis sways) and the ride is fine...I'd say my only complaint is that there are a lot more vibrations and a "roughness" to the overall sound of the car, but I've gotten used to it.
