Comparison of an Airstream and Carbon Silver ZR - PICS
My local dealership only has a black ZR and an airstream coupe. I want a roadster but not the frustration of a black daily driver, so I am trying to decide between airstream and carbon silver. There aren't many pictures of the new CS color on the site and its hard to compare the two colors just from pictures since they all have different lighting. So today while in the big city four hours from home, I got one of the dealers to park the cars side by side. They had two airstreams, a MB, and a solar orange on display outside and were agreeable to bring a newly-arrived factory ordered CS out from the back so I could see them side by side. I hope these pictures will help others who might be contemplating the same colors. Cheers.
P.S. The guy in the picture is the salesman.

I'll spell it out for all you speedy Americans. Nissan likes to name each color differently in each country the car is marketed. In Canada light silver is called Airstream. I would have thought the title and the pictures of two cars identical but for their color would have tipped you guys off but I guess I better kick it down a gear.

im digging the darker one, whichever crazy canadian color that is, im assuming carbon silver?
but I have chrome silver(looks similar to the lighter silver) and its pretty easy to keep clean.

As the owner of a SB ZR, I was glad to hear you opted not to go that route. Although I love how my car looks when freshly waxed, owning a SB Z is like having a part time job. Having said that, I prefer the darker of the cars-looks, IMO, very classy. Invest in some good polish, wax, and microfiber towels.
