Default More roadster details

Just a few details I got from my dealer.

The mesh/leather seats APPEAR to be available in plain black. The orange is an option.

The 18 inch wheels are available as an option

for both trims?

If not I'll have to pay more for Touring trim, so that I can put 18" or larger in the future without throwing things off.

Also is VCD available at all?

Default Wheels

The sheet from nissan was vague, so the dealer will be calling them monday. But...

Since the "tracking" model is really the enthusiast they _thought_ that the normal 18 inch rims were an option just on the touring model.

The sheet listed 18 inch chrome rims that are available on either model.

As for VDC, the sheet did not list it for either model, but there were some acronyms that we did not recognize (AGSC I think). So they are going to call and ask Nissan if either has the VDC feature. I want the VDC if I can get it.

They said the orders can be entered in the computer some time in the next 2 weeks! woooohooo!

The current touring 350Z coupe has VDC, limited slip diff and 18 inch rims on the 6 speed models right? Why would nissan change this on the convertible? If the 18 inch tire option is for 18 inch chrome rims with Bridgestone Potenza S-03 tires I would go for it, if not I would get some really good aftermarket rims.

So far no news of a hard top removable. I suppose they could do one later, but there is not even a hint of one now.
