350ZR Drag Racing - 1/8 mile Times
Hey guys,
Here in San Diego we have an event called Race Legal on certain Friday nights at Qualcomm Stadium. It's basically a 1/8 mile drag strip, but it's alot of fun.
This was my best time - it just happened to be against another 350Z coupe - with mods (Injen Exhaust, Plenum, Pop Charger and Cold Air Intake). My car is a stock 2004 ZR Touring with the Autostick Transmission.

You can look at their website www.racelegal.com and see both of our cars in the 6/1/07 gallery. His was the only 350Z coupe there that night - and mine was the only roadster!

I know I'm slow relatively speaking - it was my first time trying though.
I guess I need to get my 60ft. times down quite a bit and it looks like my reaction times could be better as well.
Thanks for the feedback.

Well, you won!
Now, it seems that the reaction times are really slow. The other guy picked up speed significantly quicker but seems to have lost his start quite badly.
Keep runnning and it will get better... that's what they say.

Oh, and they let me race with the top down due to the fact the Z has rollbars. Good enough I guess because the track limit for the 1/8 mile is 6 sec at 115mph - only a Hayabusa managed that on Friday!
