Powdercoating Stocks
Hi,
I am thinking of having my stock rims powdercoated a matt black.
I am not into bling at all or busy wheels with lots of spokes or patterns.
I really quite like the stock rims, about the only other ones I have liked are the Volk TE37 black rims which seem to be pretty expensive whereas I can get my stocks powdercoated for about 50 bucks a wheel.
I have a 2004 silver roadster and think the black rims would look great on the roadster, a brute look. I have seen a photo of an Aston Martin which is sort of what I am thinking of, will try to attach it.
I would really appreciate any opinions.

Never been a big fan of powder coating rims, from a distance it always looks like your rims are dirty from brake dust...
IMO, if you want to go with black rims you should by some aftermarket ones with a polished lip..

I have looked at different wheels with the polished lip and they arnt what I am looking for, have seen some very nice wheels but just not the look I want.
I was actually interested in doing the same thing and having my wheels powder coated but simply for the reason of not having too flashy of an exterior. I use to drive a NA JDM integra and it was stolen so im going simple an clean on the xterior of my Z. I heard powder coating using the spray and bake method COULD its not 100% temp matters when baking but if done wrong could actually wear down the material of your rim and cause it to bend or break.
I was wondering if there are any other solutions, dipping?
