Default solve this dispute: OEM Spoiler

I am looking for the small OEM spoiler to put on my roadster but the dealer is telling me its only for the coupe. I have seen a bunch of ZR pics with the small spoiler so it must work.

Anyone

The trunk is different, I have never seen a roadster with an OEM spoiler. You can make one fit though I'm sure. Anything is possible if you throw enough money at it.

The dealer is right. When I got my '05 ZR, they ordered the coupe spoiler for me. No one knew it couldn't fit the ZR. When it arrived and went to have it attached, they said it couldn't fit. I tried and no go. Check out Spoilerdepot.com. They have a very similar spoiler for the ZR.

The Coupe Spoiler fits with some minor work. I did it on my roadster.

There is no OEM spoiler made for the ZR. The one shown on the white ZR in the picture that's attached above is an aftermarket spoilerdepot spoiler, not OEM. These are available directly from spoilerdepot.com website at

http://www.spoilerdepot.com/Catalog....oduct=600&idB=.

or on eBay

I believe the coupes are doing pretty well with that spoiler from Spoiler Depot. Just search for other people's experience with SD.

Are the above two spoilers the same? The Ebay one is $85 painted, the one from Spoiler Depot is $200 painted.

Anyone

There is a company in Texas that makes OEM spoiler for roadsters pre painted.

I bought a spoiler for my redline roadster from spoiler depot, and I am very pleased. It came repainted and attaches to the trunk with supplied M double sidded tape. It just takes a few moments to make sure it is lined up. As for the quality of the paint, I am a 15 year veteran with DuPont in the aftermarket automotive paint division. I bought from it from them because it said they used DuPont's top paint system. The paint job looks great and matched well. I figured if it looked bad, I'd repaint it myself, but I didn't need to. I thought the back end of the car looked a bit out of proportion, and the spoiler fixed that.

Default Spoiler

The roadster spoiler is not OEM but fits like it with adhesive tape.
