I ordered an OEM style spoiler from spoiler depot for my 04 Z when I had it. It was an excellent fit plus the paint was a good match. It was PPW.

Are there any spoilers that don't require holes being drilled?

Ordered rear poiler from SpoilerDepot for my wife's 07 ZR. It was shipped from PUTECH company in Texas. Also found out it is made in Malaysia.

Installers pointed out color (B17, DB) was not perfect. Both SpoilerDepot and PUTECH confirmed no screws can be used, only supplied tape.

Installed the spoiler with extreme care and kept it under towels and weights for 24 hours to make sure it sticks along the whole length. Less than a week of driving and the spoiler slowly lifted in some spots. Two days ago, it almost all came off; my wife stopped and saved it.

Called SpoilerDepot and PUTECH at least a half dozen times. No help at all.
Spoiler is now stored back in its box

Use 3M double sided tape.
My spoiler will not budge.
be sure to prep the surfaces first.

Does anyone know of a Carbon Fiber (high quality) for the rear spoiler on the ZR. I thought with Pikes Peak White the carbon would look VERY NICE

We prepped the trunk lid very well and used the 3M supplied tape.
Thanks anyway for the advice.

I am usure as to why you would think that tape would be sufficient to attach a spoiler to a trunk lid. The force of the air flow going over and under the wing should be enough to lift it off the deck. What do you think?

My car is on post 18.
I bought my spoiler used.
Got some tape from pepboys.
Removed the wax and polish from the car with dawn.
Cleaned off the old adhesive with gum/adhesive remover.
Cleaned both surfaces with acetone.
Applied tape, press fit with a couple heavy books overnite,
It has been on for 2 years. This is also my daily driver,

I'm no Spoiler Depot fan because of their poor after sales support but, the quality was good and I installed mine myself and it has held on with no problems.

Then, based on what some of you guys say, conclusion is that we received a "bowed" spoiler that wanted to come off at a couple of places. That plus the DB off-color problem, and we will not be buying SpoilerDepot/PUTECH spoilers any time soon. I have asked them for instructions to return it but of course, no response.
