meaning the small strip outlining the window? i was told its because youre supposed to have a 1/8th-1/4th inch gap between the tint and the edge of the window....??

Looks good, and it is known as Tint with the s, unless you talking about two different tints likes 20% and 30% < used in proper context.

yeah thats true, but it looks like they freehanded it. other than that it looks good. Did you have the rear window done as well?? on the actual cloth top I mean.

Why are you "suppose" to have a small between the tint and the edge of the window?

I've never heard of that being the standard. My tint on my roadster is flush with the end of the window. If I were you I would have them redo it.

You do. The tint job I got on my TL does. The company I used gives you a life time warrenty. 10 years since I got the tint, no peeling, no bubbles.

And to the OP car looks good!

Looks nice. 20% would be a little too dark for me though, troopers up here are more than happy to pull someone over for tint.

I'm at 35%. And my windows don't have the edge gap though.

Mine is tinted all the way out to the edge at 25%, no strip left undone and so far looks fine.

Yeah I heard about NJ's laws. Tint in NJ is illegal no matter what the percentage. I got mine at 35% and it actually helps at night dulling the bright lights in the side view mirrors. Otherwise it's useless top down.

you need the gap there so when you roll the windows all the way up the tint doesnt "peel" or "flake" off and then it looks like crap! i live in az and the tint laws are awsome here lol ill get 3m 10% on my z... o i just bought my z well i get it in 9 hours!

oh and the back window on the soft top i dont think it can be tinted with regular window tint i think its a spray
