I have been searching all the car sites looking for a lower mileage used ZR. Should I be narrowing my search to just the 05's for some reason or are the 04's just as good.
It seems you can find good deals on the 05's but just takes a little searching.
What are the major differences if any between the two. Would I be happy going with the 04 Touring instead of the 05 touring? I want Nav too but I can always but that in later so that is not a must. Silverstone touring with the 6spd is what I am looking for. Around the 20 to 21K range. There are some great deals on the Automatic but I would regret it later on not getting the manual.
I am just looking for some opinions on the two different year models. Thanks.

only difference that I know of is that in 2005 they added a GRAND TOURING model to the lineup of Enthusiast and Touring.
perhaps the wheels are different? My 2005 has the 6 spoke wheels.

As far as any problems with the two years is there anything that would sway me away from the 04? If they are basically the same it might be better just to go with the 04 and save some money.
No difference between '04 and '05 Touring Roadsters, although very early '04 models will not have knee pads on the sides of transmission tunnel and will not have TPMS. Neither one of these features makes a difference, in my opinion, and should not prevent you from getting an '04 if all your other criteria (transmission type, color, etc.) is met.

Okay thanks that pretty much answers my question. I can be less picky now. It is already tough trying to find the right color, transmission, as it is in the right range.
I am going to check out an STi first just to make sure the ZR is the one I really want.

ZR is the way to go for the fun of top-down driving.
