Thinking of painting interior
I'm thinking of laying a thin layer of fiberglass over top of my center consol along with miscellanious pieces and painting it red to match the exterior. At the same time i was thining of making a gauge pod and painting both pillars to match the exterior paint as well.
I'm just not sure how this will look. Anyone got any opinions?

Nooooo don't do it... IMO, painted interiors don't look good. Even when done by a professional they're iffy.

I've looked @ a few pics of the center consols and they don't seem to look that bad. Adds a little bit of a custom look. I'm still not sure though.

Here is a pic of what i'm thinking of doing along w/the pillars and maybe a few other random pieces. Of course it'd be red to match my Z.

You can still get the nice shiny look by sanding and painting. Just make sure you take your time and do it right.
