Default My ZR Pics Finally!!

The trip was very fun, fast, and long. I arrived in Orlando around 6:30-7 their time on Friday night. I got a shuttle the dealer had arranged which took me to the Z. I was so pumped to finally get to take delivery of it. The car looked beautiful sitting in the covered parking stall. The dealer had about 5 spots reserved for out of town pick ups. I was amazed at the handling and ease of the acceleration. The suspension was soft but sporty. The seats felt amazing. I was pretty happy with the Bose. For a stock stereo it sounded great. It won't rattle the windows but sounded good. I ended up pulling into Garden City around 12:00AM Saturday and 1600 miles later.

I had to get the car to the car wash to clean off some salt from some snow I had run into, in TN. The next day I went back to really wash the car and then brought it home for a little mist wax job. I was pretty happy with the Meguirer's quick detailer.

Here are some pics let me know what you guys think. My Dad and brother both said they like the Z a heck of a lot better than the 3000GT VR-4 and even better than the S2000. I must say I agree. The S2000 was a great car but I am really liking the Z. Once we get some bills caught up I want to get an exhaust and intake. For now I am loving the stock sound and look.

Thanks for the comments. I love how it looks top up or down. Compared to the bubble look of the coupe. I do like the coupes just have always loved the verts.

Ncparamedic, lol, I hope I don't get tired of the seats. I searched for a while to get the color combos and love the seats. I think they really set the Z apart.

I can't wait to start modding. I want to start out with I/E but that will be a little while. The previous owner put on some new Bridgstone Potenza's so there is plenty of meat left. Probably only 10 percent used. I love the tires and am going to try not to burn them up too fast lol.

CongratZ...nice detail job too!
I would suggest getting a front end alignment ASAP.
BTW I guess your top checked out OK!

LOL, how long have you owned yours? Any tips to keep things in tip top shape? I want to find a good leather conditioner. I will probably clay bar the car this weekend or the next. I hear once every 2-3 months is good on the clay bar, then just wash every 2-3 weeks.

I have a newbie question. My dealership wants to charge 219.00 for a transmission fluid change and around 110.00 for a diff. fluid change. They only charge 30.00 for oil change. They said the trans is so much because of the fluid. Should I pay that much or go buy the fluid myself and just pay them labor?
