I have a 2004.5 roadster, with a minor(?) problem. When closing the top, the last step in the sequence is for the 5th bow to lower onto the storage lid, then that "hook" descends into the storage lid and latches.

Within the first year of having the car, it started "clicking" several times when latching the "hook" into the storage lid. I am sure I read on this site a few years ago of others with this issue...but I can not find any mention after searching for hours.

Anyone else have this, or better yet...some sort of adjustment to fix. Seems like the top is being latched...but it is just trying to latch to long/much...and it clicks...just like your gas cap does after being fully tightened.

Any thoughts?
