Saw my first Roadster today....
I was at Magnussen Nissan in Fremont, CA today, getting the oil changed on my Brickyard. I walked into the showroom, and sitting right in the middle was a LMS Enthusiast roadster.
I didn't study the options but noticed the price was a bit over $34k.... plus an $8995 dealer markup! Ouch!!
On a side note, I was poking around the Nissan website and noticed PPW is not offered on the enthusiast roadster. It shows up as a choice on the touring roadster. I thought that was interesting. Brickyard is nowhere to be found.
Oh, they also had an RX-8 next door at the Mazda dealer, also with a $8995 markup. I sat in it, and really like the 350Z seats much better -- I fit in them like a glove. I don't think the RX8 seats are quite as form-fitting.

Yesterday I went into Mossy Nissan in Poway, CA and they had a LeMans Sunset Enthusiast roadster in the showroom. Looked fantastic. You can tell that Nissan planned on the coupe / roadster versions from the start because the roadster does not look like a chop job. Also noticed the interior, including the seats, is identical to my couple
I saw my 1st at pacfic nissan and they said it was $45,000 without taxes or title.
I tried to tell him it was 36,000 but then he said it was 40. So i left.
By the way it was a redline touring, auto.

Check this out. Superior Nissan in Puente Hills had a Le Mans Sunset Enthusiast also. Sticker price plus a $10995 "Nissan Premium Package" consisting of a chrome grille treatment, satellite alarm (?) and "special" paint and fabric treatment. Total was just a little under 48K. Talk about ridiculous pricing. BTW, they tried to do the same thing when the coupes first came out and I happen to just walk by while the salesman was actually able to convince someone to pay the 10K mark-up!!

I checked out a black roadster at a local Nissan dealer last night. With the top down, it looks okay, but with top up, it may be one of the ugliest roadsters I've ever seen. The rear of the top should extend to the crease line behind the two seat contours on the rear deck, but it doesn't. The third brake light is in the way and the top settles in front of that. The crease line would be a natural place for the top to butt to, but here it is, just sitting out the with no real purpose, just looking out of place. It seems very poorly thought out.
Other than the Corvette, very few cars look better as a roadster, but IMHO the Z works well as a coupe, but fails miserably as a roadster.
