My Nissan dealership is the most clueless company I have ever been to.

They only know that Nissan was making a roadster because I told them about it. They only knew when to place the order because I called and told them about it.

Now that the order is in they say they will not know anything about the car til it shows up on a truck at the lot.

I can order a $.30 part from across the country and UPS can track it for me from every point, yet my dealership can't find a car that has 10,000+ parts and cost $33,000 - What gives.

Since they seem to be so dumb down here in Alabama (must be the eduaqation), is there any way I can find out directly from Nissan Japan???????????????????

If they asked for your prferences (color, trim level, etc.) already, then they should have been given an order number at the time they submitted your order to Nissan. They can call their rep at Nissan North America with that order number to get a tentative delivery date. Keep in mind these dates can change drastically, week to week.

I believe there have been a couple of typhoons lately that may delay delivery of many Z's.

Thank You - I Will call my dealer tomorrow and inform them of this so maybe they will check for me - (I must be nice, they can still raise the price)

by the way - did you get my shipment order yet?

Parts manager - I ordered the limited z car's collection and the Z book from Courtesy this morning.

I was also looking at the grounding kit. Something that I am totally uneducated on, so I am still researching.

I'm being told that their is an allotment of some sort- The Tennessee aren't much further ahead than the Alabama dealers- The Nissan dealer here has allocation on a Red one, but they aren't sure when they'll get it. God created the Z Roadster to test our faith...and I''m not the most patient guy on the Block.
