Default Tire Growl

Have now had my 04 350 for almost a year now and I am having tire growl which I have read about the recall and TCB's on this subject. Can anyone tell me how to get rid of this (different tires, correct specs on alignment and if so is there a related TSB on the alignment specs and are all dealers on board with this)

Thanks,
Randy

Not sure why this is posted in the roaster forum. Not a unique roadster problem. Read the feathering thread. Hundreds of comments and potential solutions.

Tire growl may or may not be related to "feathering." The growl that happens under braking I began to hear on the OEM tires at about 20K miles. The tires were not feathered. They looked fine - maybe a bit of uneven wear. My alignment was fine. It's apparently due to a certain wear pattern on the tires and suspension resonances, etc.

Solutions - buy new tires or rotate the fronts side to side for a try at a getting a bit more use out of the tires.

Throw a Nismo Suspension kit on your car, should take care of all your feathering issues

Front end alignment is everything. If you have the stock RE40's, get rid of them, they're junk. I went with BFG KDW F1's and they've been flawless for 15K miles. Maybe it's the unusual tread pattern, but it solved the problem.
