Default Silverstone Roadster, Rare ?

My dealership just called me and they said they ran a dealer check on Silverstone Roadsters in the 5 southern states. There report showed that only 2 have been entered/to be delivered into the 5 states. One in Texas - Automatic and Mine in Alabama.

Does anyone else have a Silverstone Roadster/ Ordered One / Or have seen one?

2 in five states seems very rare.

I just took delivery of my silverstone enthusiast model roadster yesterday. I love the color. Anybody heard just how many roadsters are being made? I'm hearing 10,000 for the 04 year; production will cease in December.

By the way, my Z is number 88. Anybody out here with one of the first 10?

Default 3000 for 04

Nissan says 3000 Roadsters for 04 - Not like we trust them for information though.

There's a silverstone Z Roadster at Advantage Nissan in League City, TX., south of Houston on I-45. At least I think it's silverstone. It's a light silver color with black top and interior and it is an automatic Touring model. They don't have the window sticker on it so I've no idea what options it's got. I heard about it today and dropped by to look. The dealer was closed (it's Sunday) but the car was parked outside which kind of surprised me. I would have thought it would be on the showroom floor. That worked for me however, as I could walk all the way around and scrutinize everything I wanted to. The only down side was that it was locked so I couldn't sit in it.

Needless to say, it's drop dead gorgeous. I must say, I wasn't sure I'd like the look of the car with the top up based on the pictures I've seen. I think the S2000 is much better in that regard. Sorry, just my opinion. Now that I've seen it in person, I have to admit that I like it much more than I expected to.

One question if anyone knows. Does Nissan offer many selections in interior color? The pictures I've seen of the Daytona Blue showed what looked to be a very light grey interior, on the seats at least. While the black interior in the car mentioned above looks very nice, it would cook you here in the Houston area this time of year. Of course, any color will be hot around here in the summer time but I think the lighter colors will be a little better and for me at least, I'll take any advantage I can get.

Drive Safe,
Steve R.

Default 3 Interior Colors

There are 3 interior colors. Orange/Black - Carbon(Charcoal) - and frost (Light dove grey).

Not all interiors are avaliable for all exterior colors.

Go to Nissanusa.com and you can build a Roadster online and choose your exterior with your interior.

Just don't read the specs on the car there, because some of there specs are WRONG.

The Silverstone in Texas was the only other one that showed on my dealerships list other than mine.

I was a a Z show this weekend and someone told me that the Auburn Coach - Coach Dyes has a Silverstone Z Roadster (HE STOLE MINE).

Anyway - Best of luck - Mine is due in in 3.5 Weeks.
