I had my passenger seat out of my car with the top already lowered, tried to put the top back up, and it would open the back panel, but the top just clicked and did not come out of its storage place. Keep in mind, the panel opened up, so something is working. I put the seat back in, connected the wires, and the top went up with no problem.

So I guess it could be one of two things?

Are the top controls tied into the wires underneath the passenger seat?

OR

Could it be an issue with the passenger airbag?
