Default New Top Color choices-Opinions please

Well I've saved up and now it's time for me to replace my top. (No it's no longer on warranty).
I've patched up my rips several times and now it gone past the point of repair.
It's silver but I was contemplating the idea of replace it with a color other than black. What you your thoughts?
Choices are:
Black, Navy Blue, Maroon, & Tan.

This is a big decision and I'd like all the opinions i can get.
Thanks!

I still think black and silver are a no-brainer. Why else would anyone like the Raiders?

Of those 3 that you have pics of I would go with tan. It gives it a sort of exoitic/luxury look.

I agree with the tan giving it a nice touch... except that it is much more harder to keep and when dirty the exotic look changes to the ghetto look in a heartbeat...

I had the blue and did not like it.. but the top was all messed up by the previous owner... so I changed it to black...

black all the way...

I think the black looks the best. Tan does not look good at all.

Black all the way dude, you need to think about resale as well. Silver and Black look good together.

I am liking the maroon, I think that would look the best.

We all know its just a matter of time before a new top is needed, and when mine goes [hopefully not for a looong time, knock, knock] I will be looking at changing the black for something else. But since my z is orange the choices are pretty much black or white.

At least with silver you have alot more flexibility, but I still think maroon looks best. My order of preference would be:
1 - maroon
2 - tan
3 - black
4 - blue (if they were sold out of everything else and you had no other choice)

Its not that black is a bad color, its just that the other two stand out better since they arent OEM on the z.

BLACK

The other colors do not match anything on the car.

Blue has been my top pick for a while. Why didn't you like blue? Someone mentioned that Blue might fad and make it look like a really ghetto fadded black. Did that happen to you?

I'm not worried about resale. I'll probably keep this car till the end. But thanks for your opinion!

Ha! Thats a bit different then your liking Well, I don't understand why people here haven't seemed to like the blue at all. I've been asking friends and coworkers and they like blue the best.
Another thing I was thinking of considering was thinking of ceramic paint on my brakes. Maybe Red or yellow?
What do you think? I photoshopped a Maroon top with painted brakes and it just looked like a clown car to me. I haven't seen another roadster with painted brakes so I don't know how it looks. I've seen it on the coupe and it looks good (IMO), but I wonder if I'd be messing with too many color schemes.
What do you all think?

You could probably do it yourself for around $500.

The ripping isn't because of the top, it is because of the mechanism underneath. I'm not sure how you would go about fixing that. Mine is starting to wear as well.
