Default 3M Window tint

Hey!! new to the forum. I have a red roadster. I got a 3m window tint last week. After 1 day of driving, I noticed two small 3m emblems on the film. It is part of the film, but looks like ***!! What's up!!

Hmmm. Heard 3M was the best today. Does not screw up cars with antenias in the windshields.

It probably means that it is "legal" tint. I remember the same thing happening to me a billion years ago when I had another car tinted. They had a quite obvious sticker between the tint and window to show the 'bacon' that my car was in fact legal. Of couse they still pulled me over constantly. Once was for "accelerating too fast" from 0-25. I think the cop just wanted to see the chick I had with me. He let me go with a warning and told me to "go have a good time". Never mentioned the tint. lol.

Anyway...check out 3M's website or shoot them an email. I bet that is the reason.

Thanks for the info. 3m is telling me they are putting in on all their films so the consumer knows they are getting the real deal, and not a cheap imitation. Sounds good, but I still don't like the logo's.
