Default Optional 18" wheels

Has anybody managed to order a car with the optional 18" wheels. My salesperson is telling me that they haven't been released by Nissan yet. He was supposed to talk to the Nissan rep last week, but I still don't have any definate answer from him as to their availability.
Thanks
Rich

Yes you can get it. I would not recomend it becuase even if you get the 18" wheels they do not have the tire pressure moniter. Instead of paying 1200 you can buy them from ebay for a lot less and still keep your 17" wheels or sell them on ebay.

Thanks for the input, however that's not the answer to my question. I know that 18's are listed as an available option. Some of the first production run had 18's. I know that I can buy aftermarket 18's. I want to know if anybody has managed to order a car w/18's. I am being told that they are not "released" yet.

Yes you can get it

I guess that wasn't clear enough. You can order it with 18" wheels. Here is a copy of the sticker listing the options on a roadster with 18" wheels listed.

I know that there are cars that have been built w/18's. When will they again be building cars w/18's ? Their computer will not accept an order w/ 18's, at least from my dealership.
