plastic piece behind windscreen alignment?

is it supposed to be sitting high, like it's not aligned when the top is up?
I'm talking about the grey plastic piece/cover, behind the seats/windscreen

pic? there is a gap between the body and the plastic peice though it should be an even gap though..

looks normal to me, the gap is supposed to be there or it would be rubbing on your paint
