3 - will 2006 COUPE's LED factory tail lamps fit into a 2004 ROADSTER?

1 - Yes the exhausts are the same

2 - You would just need to replace the amber bulb with a red one for the REAR ONLY. As MB33 stated red lights (and blue too) on the front are usually reserved for Law Enforcement/Emergency/Rescue vehicles
.
3 - I think the coupe and roadster tail lights are the same, but I'll let someone who knows for sure take a stab at that one

I just looked that up on ebay. Did you notice that
(a) That is for one unit?
(b) That is for drivers side only?
(c) The red light is a fog light?

1) Exhaust, yes for sure they are the same.

2) Do you want a red lens or just blink red? You can find red bulbs but it might look a little strange. I have red lenses. I painted them with Tamiya Translucent Red paint. Here they are:

The downside: I have no reverse lights in white. LOL I just back up carefully. Most of the time I park in the back of the lot anymore.

3) Yes. Personally, I like the older lights vs the LEDs.

Actually, no. US law does not require rear turn signals to be amber. Look at most American cars. It has been that way for over 50 years. Not sure if Europe has relaxed their rules but in the past, all European cars required amber for rear turn signals. (Especially in the UK)

That is a European Rear Fog Light. It takes the place of one of the backup lights. One side only.

No problems at all. I keep waiting for one to say something about no reverse lights but nothing after 1 year.

By the way phreak did you replace the bulb in the rear to a white or red or did you leave it amber?

Regarding the Lens: Just paint it yourself. Go to a hobby shop and get Tamiya Transucent Paint # TS-74. It's used by Model RC car builders to color taillights. I applied three coats. Two would be enough. One can will take care of several cars.

I did these lights and the 3rd brake light. As for the bulbs, I didn't need to change them. There's no hint of amber through the red lens.
