Anyone removed the Nissan emblem on the rear of the roadster and if so were there any holes?

If there is, just take it to the bodyshop.

Just found this thread and like the various things that individuals have done to their Z. I have a 2008 350Z GTR (Grand Touring Roadster). Attached are some pics.

The car came with all the modifications on it when I bought it. I am in the process of re-doing the audio system to make it simpler. Also, I need to get a rear lip for it. Debating between the INGS+1LX or the Stillen. Tough decision. Thoughts?

^ ok for the first time ever, that GTR doesn't look like complete ****.

BUT, Please don't call it a 350Z GTR, makes it sound like you're trying to make it something it's not.

I'd go Ings over Stillen.

Thanks... I think.. Not sure if that was a complement or a back handed slap on how the car was done.

I apologize about my acronym. I meant Grand Touring Roadster. =)

Another thing that I will be adding are some tints on the windows.

It's weird how the INGS goes half way up and stops. It puts this weird extra body line right through the middle of the bumper. But it is cleaner looking.

The Stillen has too much 'going on' for me.

it's up to you

The rest of your car looks good though

LOL - I'm sure it was a positive comment.

I haven't seen anyone pull off the GT-R style nose on a Z.

Looks good but I still have mixed feelings on it. (That's OK. Everyone has their own opinion of what's hot.)

Nice to see another modified redline roadster out there.

Use a fishing line to "saw" through the foam adheasive backing. Once you have that off, then use Goof-off to remove the rest of the residue.

If your paint has a little age to it, you will see a ghosting of the emblem underneath the foam crap. I haven't been successful to remove all the ghosting yet but it's pretty good. This works for all the trunk badges and letters.

Take your time and don't pull hard to remove it or you will pull up paint.

Decided to go with the Stillen type 1 rear lip due to price and availability. Will have some pics in a couple weeks once it is installed.

Next up.. tinted windows.

Just took some pics yesterday. Thinking of going a little lower, probably sometime next year.
