CS or SS w/ventilated seats
My salesperson called yesterday and he can finally order a roadster w/18" wheels. I'm leaning heavily to SS w/burnt orange, ventilated seats (vs CS w/frost and blue top). How are the ventilated seats? They look great with the SS. Are they still heated? Are they comfortable? Any input from those with the ventilated seats would be greatly appreciated. I'm going to finalize the color tomorrow.

Vented Seats
I have the burnt orange vented seats in my Roadster, and I love them! The seats are heated in the bottom still, but not in the back. They are extremely comfortable, and the venting is awesome with the top down.

I've been considering vented seats vs. no vented seats for a few days now. The wife and I actually test drove a roadster with vented seats this evening. The concern we have is that Krispy Kreme crumbs (or any other crumbs, for that matter) will get down into the mesh and we will be unable to vaccume them out. Has anyone else considered this to be a problem?

I've recently acquired a SS roadster with the vented seats. The heating and ventilation are both great, but yes crumbs can be a problem. I don't eat in my car, but a small bit of cardboard from a box required tweasers to remove. I can't imagine trying to remove small crumbs (which would become smaller crumbs with the tweaser method). A vacuum probably wouldn't create enough suction because of the lack of a seal. My advice, don't order the vented seats if you plan to eat in your car. 'Hope this helps.

If you get a convertible with orange leather, the center of the seat and back are made of a black mesh material that allows air to circulate so that you don't sweat as much. I'm sold on the design, but I wish Nissan offered colors other than orange. The same seats in Nissan's "frost" leather would look killer.
