Default Has Anyone Installed an Aftermarket Alarm on their Roadster?

It appears everyone seems to think that the CompuStar is the creme de la creme. From my research there are two models, the FM and the spread spectrum. Spread spectrum has a much farther range.

You can find both systems on eBay but I don't know what I'd do for an installer. There are a lot of guys who did installs on the Coupes but I fear the Roadster might be different.

I'd also like to install a Car PC (because I couldn't get NAV) but again I fear that the experiences from Coupe installs might not carry over to Roadster installs.

Thoughts?

Paul,
Got an email from Chazzg with In Car PC the other day, he said he had sold two units to guys with Roadsters but didn't know if they were installed yet. I plan on putting on in my Roadster, when it come in.

I haven't had an aftermarket car alarm for about 10 yrs, so couldn't tell you anything on that.

I'm SOO into getting one of those car PC's because I couldn't find a triple black roadster with NAV so the ZPC would be perfect for that. I just need to either find an installer or some very detailed instructions for my Roadster so I can do it myself.
