Beware fake ebay hardtop
Hey guys - so I was looking on ebay and came across this.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/350z-Roadste...item231508dce8
It is a horribly photoshopped pic of my car. I would say this is fake so beware.
You be the judge. It is inverted but it is my car and the same pic. They just editied it.

You really cant see the fact that its Photoshopped? The rims look 2D and badly centered with the rest of the wheel, there is no way that could be the actual wheels on the car. Me being very skilled on Photoshop, I can easily transform rim(s) onto a car to match the environment, change body paint, bent body shapes, tint windows, etc.
the wheels are clearly photoshopped in. they're not even perfectly centered in the tire and the resolution on them is not the same as the cars. and the reflections and shadows are identical.
No but I plan to flag/report it on ebay. I don't want them scamming people because that is not their product.
When I first saw it I was like...dang that looks like my car. Hardtop,V2 front bumper, spoiler and slash guards.etc.
I tought mine was pretty close to one of a kind.
So, I brought up my pics and confirmed it.
Someone certainly went through a lot of trouble in order to do a bad job of psing it. Swapped rims, removed the front grill-thingy, removed the reflection of you, reversed (poorly) the 350z emblem, removed the steering wheel (left the cluster), removed part of the black line in the top, removed the antenna...

I thought mine was pretty close to one of a kind.

Regardless if its their picture or not, they should still be reported for scamming in general. Its just like how people on Craigslist will post a picture of a beautiful car, listed at an unbelievable price, with a crazy story like "About to be shipped out to Iraq, need to sell car as soon as possible." And then they tell you that the car is in a storage facility somewhere far, and can be shipped to you without giving the seller any money until you have test driven it. Thing is that these people want you to send money by Western Union or wire transfer before you test drive the car, even though they supposedly wont get any money until you decide to buy it. You will never see your money again, because the money you gave went directly to the scammer, all the while you are left with nothing because the car never existed.
They may be working on a hardtop or they may not even exist. Regardless they should not be posting pics of items that they are not selling.
But there is a gray area when it comes to an artist's "perception" of something. Even if you have the photograph officially copyrighted, they altered it enough to make it their own (changing the color, different rims, no antenna, etc.). Hence, if they are going to use it for a non-profit use, they can. Took a class on this in college for my graphic major.
But I'm positive if they start to use it for profit, then you have a possible legal issue at hand. Again, this lies within that gray area because the court system may swing one way or the other.
I am against this since this could be a possible scam.

You sent them an email telling them you want moneys for using your picture?
