Default Having over heating issues after installing kinetix intake plenum

So I installed the kinetix plenum few days ago I had to bypass the coolent hoses had a few vacuum leaks so I used some gasket maker but still ran and sounded terrible mostly cuz it was used and warped so I went back to stock I had a shaved lower set that I kept but went back to stock upper. Now my temp gauge is freaking out it stays normal for a min then sky rockets. Please if u had similar issues help me out

With a cold engine - just remove the radiator cap and start the car. Let it run for a few minutes, as the water circulates any air in the system will work its way out through the opening. Then just stop the engine and replace the cap. Shouldnt really take more than 5 minutes. Check your fluid levels and you should be good to go.

I would also check for leaks to make sure you aren't introducing more air to the system.
