Hi guys,
Need to confirm the part number for 5th bow motor. I need a new one![Frown](https://my350z.com/forum/images/smilies/frown.gif)
I have found the following:
97100V
97100-CE400
97100-CE41a
94092-CE400
I think it's the 97100-CE41a but I just don't know for sure? This comes with the motor (some people call actuator i think?) and some additional assembly?
Need confirmation guys! Please! I tried the repair on the forums but no good, it's still struggling like hell and won't really work properly.
NOTE: Nissan are F*****g clueless.
Thanks

My dealer invoice shows that they replaced 97100-CE41A on my '05. That included the 5th bow motor assembly.
Also, there's a really good DIY thread here: https://my350z.com/forum/maintenance...th-photos.html

I changed the brushes man mine were completely worn, but it's still no good. Now it's just struggling to go UP but it can manage closing. Something else is wrong and I don't know what lol

Also thanks for the part, that's what I was thinking but it's so bloody confusing.. Also i'm not sure if it's DEFINITELY the motor or not. It seems to be struggling and not handling the load of the bow for some reason.

OK so, it turns out the brushes being changed has helped significantly, just not fixed it completely.
I'm now stuck with the motor having the same symptoms INITIALLY. click noise, loosen the roof from the cover and not go anywhere. If i tap the motor a few times it seems to help after a couple of tries and it just goes into full motion and works perfectly!
Also, if it isn't WARM, in terms of weather, it STRUGGLES to go up (so it seems).
Not sure how these issues are being caused but at least it will be easier to automatically use the damn thing!
