Default Buying a Z soon. Advice please.

Name's Liz.
Looking into buying a VQ35HR Z roadster. so 2007-2009.
Can they be modded like any other Z?
Anything I should specifically check for when buying a Z?
I plan on 500whp+ with an HKS twin turbo kit.
And a GT wing.
Maybe drift it once I learn to drift on something...not so awesome. :P
Any advice is appreciated.

Why get a roadster if you plan on building it, and especially if you plan on drifting it? Not saying there aren't verts out there that drift but a coupe would be more practical for that IMO. But to answer your question yes they can be modded like any other Z.

Oh, open to other suggestions on twin turbo kits. I don't care much about top end, more about least lag, most acceleration. I want the car to be able to move as fast as my brain can work :P
this will be my first F/I car.
Current cars:
2003 Ford Focus ZX5 automatic 2.0L Zetec, MPG mod/Euro mod.
2003 Hyundai Tiburon GT V6 manual 2.7L

As long as you're fine with the car being heavier & not as sturdy(drifting).

First thing to check on any used ZR is the top! Make sure it opens and closes smoothly.

Sit in it with the top closed, in the sun, and check for pinholes.

You'll love it - good luck!
