Well considering that mounting it on top of a roadster is out of the question. Has anyone seen a Roadster with a sattalite radio installed out there.??

For the 350Z coupe just put it on the strut bar in the back. Signal is perfect. Not sure about the roadster but I'm sure you could find somewhere inside to put it. The stock Nav system has it's GPS antenna up front UNDER the dash just behind the 3 gauge pod. I assume you could mount it there if you had to.

Default XM Radio

Bonz,
Did you install that Pioneer? I was looking at the XM Roady but can't figure out the mount either. I'm not sure I want someone cutting up my console.

Bonz/Zinn,

I have my XM cradle built into the center dash compartment. This is my third XM install and i went with an FM modulator. A small notch in the top of the center dash trim lets you hide all the wires with the antenna being velcro'd to the trim between the gage pod and the windshield. Hope this helps.

Steve

I didn't install it. The guys at Circuit City did. The "brains" of the unit are under my passenger seat and the unit is stuck to the plastic of the console with double sided tape. I didn't really want those guys cutting into it either so thus the tape.
