Dudegetalife, that broken stud is easy to extract. You need to drill a pilot hole in the center and tap in a screw extractor using it to remove broken piece. The tricky part is drilling the hole straight and in the exact center of the stud. People used to bring this type of job to my dad. If they didn’t try to fix it themselves, it only took him a minute or two. If they drilled a crooked, off center hole and butchering it with the extraction tool, he still could get it out, but it seemed to require a whole lot of cuss words.
Check You Tube and the net for demonstrations of this job to see if you are confident in doing this.

Google ‘metric ball stud’ and you will see dozens of them offered for sale. Other cars may use a similar stud, or somebody with real welding skills could fix it. My dad would often do things like that. We had to get an extra fridge to hold all the beer he won from yokels who bet that something or other couldn’t be welded/brazed etc.
His favorite was to have his accomplice tell what seemed like a tall tale about some mystical Russian aerospace welder who could weld two pieces of tinfoil (aluminum kitchen wrap) together. He told the misbeliever to rip a piece of foil in half with a jagged line, then using his TIG welder he would weld a perfect bead joining them back together.
