Yeah you might have done it *** backwards, usually people match the wheels to the car not the car to the wheels... But your adapting and overcoming... Im guessing it came out good in the end because your sharing the photo journal.

Are you running the same wheels and tires front and back?

Dude either way you go still need toe arms. Toe arms go where the spring bucket is. That will bring the rear closer than what u have it now. Youll still probably need over fenders but you'll need toe arms as well

It can't be... I watched the installation videos like 20 times each (one a DIY'er and the other a shop) and then again while I was putting them on... And the guy left the spring bucket "on".

I thought the only thing I had to do with the spring bucket was cut the hole to drill the mount bolt hole to a bigger diameter

"Massachusetts"....

just out of curiosity, you wouldn't have happened to just purchase a pair of clinched flares and pick them up from the post office a day or two ago in 02780 area, would you?

Well one of the sets arrived...

The other pair got sent to "Massachusetts"...

But I'm not gonna let that stop the show.
Although I don't want a "rocket bunny" I do like the areo look. I getting the fit I want set and I'll start cutting on Monday.

Nope I didnt get any awesome fenders in the mail, I did get a shitty open package of whiteline bushings missing 3 of the 8 though... Sucked

And yes you remove the spring bucket and install the arms where the bucket used to be... And you make or buy lockout washers and bolts, or just re-use the eccentric bolts if your not worried about the play in on them...

Check out the suspension 101 thread...

It's coming along.

Im actually surprised we dont see more threads about wheel bearings failing or ball joints breaking with these -offset wheels.

They must take tractor trailer turns so they dont pinch the tires and have them fall off the beads or something. That must save the front end component.

Even big ars trucks dont appreciate crazy offset wheels...

Not the best picture but that front wheel had some serious camber from the wheel bearing giving up...

And yes the tires are touching the bed rails on both sides, it was a tight squeeze.

What nizmo is saying is you need to replace your stock spring buckets with aftermarket toe arms (as most people that convert to a true coilover setup in the rear do).

When you were maxing out your camber arms & your wheel/tire started pointing to the right.. That is TOE. To correct that at the extremes that you are attempting, you need aftermarket adjustable toe arms.

These are camber arms:

These are toe arms:

Hope that cleared things up a little.

Physhin is absolutely correct. That toe arm should help tremendously and probably negated over fenders but it looks like your all in now. However a toe arm will make the driveability much better

The lame part is that I thought this:

The fortunate parts are that
1) without knowing, I've purchased both. I put the Megan rod back on and took the red (s something something) one off... And its where it should be. So its just a matter of taking the spring bucket off and putting the red (Spec-d!, had to go look) camber arm on.

2) I've negated my need for extream camber buy going wide body.

Man..... I feel like I followed a treasure map all the way around the block only to end up 2 feet from where I was originally standing when I started
